I don't agree with the shotput thing either. As a general rule, you are right, for any given skill there is more likely to be a group in Africa that is more specialized in it than in Europe, just because of their greater genetic diversity. It's just that A. europeans, especially those from the north are very well physically build to have great upper body strength, in fact so much, that I wouldn't expect anyone else from any area besides there to be so specialized for that one physical ability and B. if there was a group in Africa that had that had an advantage over them in weight lifting, we would probably be seeing them in the events, as we are seeing Kenyans in marathons now. I for one believe there are superiorities among race. I define superiorities as having control. Using life as example superiorities is having dominance. In addition, it is obvious that the Caucasian race is dominant. Not to say that this race is better than the next, they just have rein over the majority currently.
Another issue that came up was race equality. As much as we would like that ideal aspect in life, it is simply false. One cannot look at the assortment of people and claim we are all the same, because we are not. The main problem among the African-America race is education. My people are not educated enough, and it is mainly the community’s fault. When we continue to perpetuate and enforce ideals that are not conducive to our community *sports, rap, pimping*. To comment on statement someone said, that we only do this to get out of the ghetto is not necessarily true. First black live in the ghetto, they only make an up a small percentage of African-American community, the majority of us make up the middle class. And yet these small people in the middle class still choose to be in sports and the rapping industry, so like I mentioned before it’s education that’s missing in our criteria. If you want to keep a secret away from a black man, hide it in a book However, not this one, I plan to fight against the stigmas, you will definitely see me in the future |

Its not African Americans that are not getting a good education, its poor communities that are not getting enough eudcation. The only reason that poor communities are more commonly made up of minorities, is because white people have put them there, because they believed they were "superior" and "different" from them. If that idea did not put minorities into those poor communities, a black person would be 100% as capable as a white person, visa versa. Soltution---Get rid of these racist ideas that skin color makes someone different, and make schools in poor communities better, along with the communities themselves. That way, every body rich and poor get a chance at a good environment and equal education. Problem is, you still correlate color with capability. That only works most of the time. Why not correlate capability with capability. That works 100% of the time. But I guess that would make too much sense... Here is a question I pose to you, that I posted in another thread which no one answered, that I expect you to answer: Why do we judge based off of skin color? Why not hair color, eye color, or even whether has an overbite or underbite, or their height, etc? Why do we choose skin color? It is only a physical feature out of that list, why it is a better way of judging than the others? |

However, if you are going to develop pride about where you came from, then DEVELOP PRIDE FOR WHERE YOU CAME FROM, NOT THE COLOR OF THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE THERE. Once against, its a be right 60% of the time or be right 100% of the time issue. |
